I am a resident of AL with a valid Carriers permit for AL. I am traveling to FL for Thanksgiving for a few day... I know that FL is a reciprical state to AL permit.
My question is how should it be concealed or not concealed while in my car?

Thanks for the help.

The Florida laws are pretty easy to find on line. Check there. The better the concealment, generally, the better off you are.

Go here "http://handgunlaw.us" and look at the links. Be careful, one of them initiated a PDF download and opening Adobe, which frustrated me a bit.

carrying on your person in the car, concealed means just that. Otherwise if not on your person the gun must be in "a secured container" a snapped holster, gun rug, shoe box, original purchase box, glove box Etc. Brad

Thanks for the helpful info.

The gun must be concealed if on your person. In the car no need for a holster. It can be in the glove box, consol, BUT the door/lid of the place of storeage MUST BE CLOSED. If the gun is in the plain site of LE or the general public you are in VIOLATION of the law. Any questions on this and you can consult this web site.
