Anyone familiar w/this powder? Have been told it's low smoke, low residue and clean burning(a miracle powder right?)
Have only seen data for 9mm,10mm,&.40s&w. Any more data available?
Tks, Kevin

I've never tried any of it so I can't tell you anything about their claims of what it will or won't do.

I do have a 2003 Ramshot loading guide though. They list data for 9mm, 38 Super +P, 357 Sig, 40 S&W, 10mm both jacketed and lead and .45 ACP both jacketed and lead. They are supposed to have newer guides with more calibers and loads listed but I have never seen any of them, yet.

I've read that Silhouette is the exact same powder as the discontinued Winchester Action pistol (WAP), just with different packaging. Therefore you could use WAP data for your loads.

Here's a link to the current Ramshot data (Edition 4.2.2):

Just click on the "Load Guide" link under Load Data on the sidebar to bring up the pdf.

I use 8 gr Silhouette in my 9mm USPSA Open Gun. I am pushing a 121 gr Montana Gold bullet at 1450 fps. The powder burns extremely clean and developes alot of gas to work the compensator. I have not loaded it in a normal 9mm load.

This is correct.
