Thanks for taking the time to share this great info and I am glad you are able to add Accurate No. 2 to your tests. I also followed your posts when you tested Accurate No. 5 ,I printed out entire thread and added to my reloading log . Thanks again.

I have used zip for years with great success in 38 spl loads using 158 gr cast bullets . Absolutely love it in 45 LC and 44 magnum using genuine " Keith " swc's . I use 8 grs , very mild recoil in both . In 45 LC out of a 16" lever gun it packs quite a punch .

Western powders are not common around here but managed to find a pound of Zip. Used mostly in 9mm and 45acp it worked really well. Lower pressures it left a grayish residue in the case and I thought it smoked a little more than the WST I normally used in the same loads.
