Inspired by another thread, I thought I start this one.

Onomea, I'll see your #1 and raise you a #2 😎

I got this Randall #2-7 from a retired 32 yr. veteran of the US Navy.
He bought the knife just before deploying to Vietnam in 1968.

Very nice, I've always been fond of Stilettos, and up until now I wasn't aware that Randal ever made one.

These things can be addictive!

I have three Randall's.. the one above from a Navy veteran and two others that came as a set (#1 & #2) with the former Army veteran's name on them. They also came with the original shipping box addressed to him in Fayetteville from Randall.

Here's the #2 Randall "Fighting Stiletto" that belonged to the Army Major:

Onomea, very nice. Bowie blades are ok.. but I really like the stiletto blades and daggers.

This is what a Randall Model 2 would look like if it was on steroids. I have never seen another one like it.

The Randall #2 is a strengthened version of the famous WII Fairbairn-Sykes, which Bo Randall, likely with input, thought too flimsy. BubbaBlades' knife above seems a further evolution of the sturdy approach.

As Absent Comrade TexasStar pointed out some years ago, the double edge dagger design itself as been around at least since ancient Egypt.

Another tidbit on the Randall #2 that I came across in my reading was by a soldier who had carried one in Afghanistan. He commented that while he did not get much use out of it, it impressed the hell out of the locals...
