Range Bag Question

The Dillon bags have a sleeve with them to put the gun in, like a large padded bank bag. You can buy another one, as there are two side pouches, one on either side made for the pouches. All the other stuff goes in the center compartment, which has pockets for other stuff, like a first aid kit.

If you go to either a Target, Walmart, Costco etc. you can find a general purpose nylon/canvas bag for under $20 bucks that will serve just as well as most of the expensive "Range specific" types, and they are not a whole lot different either. The ones from Dillon, Midway, and other shooting supply Companies are fine, but you will pay the price for a "GUN BAG".

My son bought me a generic Range bag at Target about 10 years ago for Fathers Day, and it is still going strong. It has lots of pockets, compartments and has a stiff thick liner on he bottom that makes it very adept at carrying quite a bit of weight without bending or deforming. The added plus here is that when we go into a Restaurant before or after a Range session, I take my bag of guns in with me (NEVER leave them in the car) and it does NOT look like a gun bag - I don't like to advertise that I am carrying a bag full of guns!
