Been a Ruger guy for years but this Shield is something else, love it. 100rds of Win white box, no malfunctions of any kind. Recoil nil, accurate at 15yds offhand. Dumped all the brass just to the right not in my hat or shirt so like that. It's a keeper, have the M & P40 too, it's a keeper too.

Installed Apex hard sear UTB
and Warren Tactical 2 dot sights. This little gun is a tack driver. Much better than the G27's I have owned with less recoil. Can't believe the accuracy of the 3 inch barrel.
Smith got this gun right . Have over 700 rounds thru mine 200 yesterday all kinds of ammo with not one problem. Thinking of getting a second one in case I ever have to send this one back.

Shield 9mm BIG Fan

Got my 9mm Shield from my FFL 7:00pm Thursday.
Had it at Smokin Gun's range 0900 this morning, Friday.
One word....WOW.:D:D
100 rounds Federal 115gr FMJ
100 rounds WWB 115gr FMJ
As said below....it is a TACK DRIVER.
Accurate out of the box at 7yds, 10 yds, 15yds.
And fun to shoot.
Got 2 extra 8round mags from Cabela's (8-1-12)
Hope S&W gets the supply chain filled so that others can
enjoy this fine, fun and accurate handgun.
(I have big hands for a big man and this handgun works!!!!)
...Now for an IWB holster.:)

I have the M&P.22 that I shoot steel plate matches with and love it. So easy to shoot and it doesn't kill your wallet.

Mine is the 9mm and it is great. Talk about service, I orderd Talon's 2 days ago and they are on the gun, perfect fit and feels really good. So far this shield purchase is about perfect.
