Our indoor pistol range has 7 - 10 - 15 yard & 50 foot distances for stationary targets. In the past months I have found numerous club members or guests shooting from a sandbagged bench, at a target at 7 yards, at a height of about 60". This puts every round fired into the ceiling baffles or worse the roof further down range.
Today I had to explain this to a well qualified NRA instructor as I observed two of his students shooting holes in the baffles!
Why is the idea of knowing what is beyond your target so difficult to grasp by some?
