Well then Bayou & Missouri aren't doing it right either, their bullets smell like burning brakes. With all do respect to hi-tek joe, not buying it. The coating is not unlike a lube, add heat, it's going to produce something. It's not really bad, but I can always tell when someone is shooting hi-tek coated bullets.
I notice that with HT or PC, interesting aromas are dependent on the specific load.
The real question is, Is that new quirk really a problem?
I don't think so.
It's still not leaving lead in the pipe or smoke in the air.
Perhaps if it burned into a pineapple or mango scent there'd be no debate at all.
Still, it has the right stuff where you need it to be.
