Range Report & M&P 15-22 "Apples & Oranges Comparison" to my Dedicated .22lr setup

Sorry for being harsh but your post sucked. I'm in experienced, yes. I can shoot a group with all the guns I own except with the m&p. Despite my inexperience, I'm going to send this rifle back to the mfg because it's very in accurate thus far

The grand-daughter could always use a supplement to her allowance...if by chance you want some lessons... :)

Great shooting grandaughter u have there. It's always good to see the little ones out enjoying themselves with one of our beloved freedoms.

After seeing the above pic. I have come up with a little theory of my own.

There must be a short between the Ops chair and the trigger. :D

One thing about shooting many .22 off a full rest is do not put any pressure on the rifle anywhere. Many times you will line up for the next shot and you will see the dot is off target a little so you might squeeze the grip down a little or put some pressure on the foregrip to reline it up. That is a big no-no especially with a 15-22. While you might be lining the sight up you are also putting pressure on the foregrip which will defect the barrel at least slightly so the shot will not go where the sight is aimed. In fact I will be going to my club range for a pistol match this Saturday and I will take my selection of .22 rifles and my off brand equivalent to the Lead Sled and actually do a set of targets showing some results. Of course my 15-22 has a lot of stuff on it that helps accuracy but it is no comparision to my $1000 custom Rem 597. I might even stuff my CMMG kit into my 3-gun AR but I don't want to mess up my 3-gun POA by resetting the scope's zero. Maybe I can use one of the other BDC dots for the .22 POA.
I know my 597 can do 1/2 MOA off the bench. I could also bring my 15-22 PC model to test it against also. Lots of options plus I have an entire brick of CCI-SV.
