Beautiful firearm, and really great shooting results! I've been looking at them on-line and love their looks. Great acquisition.
I really enjoy photos of dirty guns, especially when they are new dirty guns. There are plenty of MIM and IL bashers and I get the criticisms of the IL. A few of my revolvers have the IL in them, and a few had them removed (those tasked with serious business like carry duty).
Thanks for the gorgeous photos.
I like to get them dirty![]()
Great shooting, and comments too!!!
I have grown weary of all the bellyaching about MIM and the IL, like to see some positive comments.I wish I had larger hands, N-Frames are just a bit big for mine to be comfortable, but I am quite fond of them nevertheless and have owned a few, will do so in the future. I currently have a 619, which I wish S&W still made, with the two piece barrel some also claim may fly off one day. It is the most accurate .357/.38 I have ever owned, and will get around to doing a photo op on a good group one day. I won't post a photo because I don't want to hijack this one; it's about new N-Frames here after all, just wanted to add my modern revolver thumbs up!
You guys are great, making sure no one misses a chance to acquire that 'necessary' next gun thereby making sure we are all in the doghouse together.
I ain't in no doghouse! I haven't bought a new S&W in years! The last S&W I bought was a 4 inch 1970 Model 10-5 before Christmas, and the last one I got was a nickeled 1982 Model 37 (no dash) in a straight trade for my old KelTec P32 with an extra magazine and an Uncle Mike's pocket holster on Christmas Day! (The guy really, really wanted that KelTec!) Then, last week my agency let me turn in the Glock 22 and draw a 4 inch S&W Model 686. Since I didn't have to pay anything for the 686, my wife's good with it.ECS
Awesome gun! I like your grips. Your pic reminds me of one I took with my phone of mine a while back.
