Took my new Shield .40 to the ranger yesterday for the first time. Shot 100 rds of Remington 180 gr without any problems. Then shot 155 XTPs that were my loads. Shot 200 rds of that. The gun seems to be very accurate. The 6 rd mag was hard to load, or at least harder then the 7 rnd. The metal lips seem to be closer together. I was very happy with the Shield. Seeemed very dependable and will be my new carry gun.

Sir, I bought my .40 yesterday, had about the same experience as you, I'm very happy. I was at the range yesterday and today, I left the mags loaded over night, both mags loaded about the same today.
