I was visiting my sister in Concord NC and had the opportunity to go to Eagle Gun Shop and Range. Its a nice little range. A good time was had by all. I got my sister to shoot a gun for the 1st time. (Actually my wife worked with her). She is an educator and is a bit skeptical about guns. But I believe she loosened up some.
Now we are in Nashville.
We Plan to go to the Armory in Franklin or Nashville in the next few days. The wife's college roommate is ex military- (Army Colonel Veterinarian) and lives in Franklin. She will know the best place to go but I am open to suggestions. I brought my own hardware.

Yes, it is. I don't live in Concord, but I've shot there a few times. Also bought several guns from them. Haven't been there for a while, though. Still...nice memories of the place.

I've shot at the Nashville Armory. It's a very nice indoor range. I enjoyed shooting there.

If you're going to be in the Nashville area on Saturday, you might want to see if you can get tickets for the Grand Ole Opry, and the backstage tour. I've done it a few times, and I thought it was fun. Hear some live country music and learn a little bit about the history. And the gift shop has GooGoo Clusters. Good stuff.

We have tickets for Friday night at the Ryman Auditorium to see Ricky Skaggs, Charlie Pride more. Its the GOO at the Ryman which is where the Grand Ole Opry was aired from 1943 until 1974.

I understand misspelling his name voided contracts. I saw him a few times years ago. The man has a tremendous voice.

Well I did didn’t have a contract with him! Charley got a standing ovation last night. He’s 85 and had the best stage presence of all the singers last night. His voice is still amazing. You would never know he had cancer in his vocal chords.

The Armory is a very nice indoor range. Fairly easy access off of I-65 South.

There is a nice range in Mt. Juliet but, since you are in the Franklin area, it would be out of the way. Owl Hollow is South of Franklin but, is an out door range and this time of year, indoor is probably the best option.

Enjoy the area, stay off of lower Broadway at night. East Nashville has some great restaurants and is not as crowded. Midtown Cafe is our favorite restaurant in Nashville. Urban Grub, on 12th South is also vey good.
