Serving notice or asking for trouble?

I avoid potentially controversial stickers of any kind on my vehicles. Nothing about guns, politics, social issues, etc. I’ll be happy to share my views with anyone who asks, but I don’t feel compelled to broadcast my opinions uninvited.

I do have this little guy on the rear window of my truck, but just because I thought he was so darned cute.

Well, everyone has their own opinion, and my opinion is, stickers like that demonstrate the individual owning the vehicle must be either (a) a company representative who is a little proud, but stupid, or (b) a private individual who is Very, Very stupid; in any event, remember: "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!"

Personally, I don't like any stickers on my car. But from time to time, I wear my S&W cap when I'm out. But I don't do it for a threat, but instead for comfort, and protecting my balding head from the sun! And since I grew up in Detroit, I'm paranoid enough that if someone were to follow me home, they will wish they hadn't as soon as I open my door.
The signs contribute to burglary, not robbery, I think

I’m glad this is being discussed. Personally, stickers, hats, signs, etc re: the house being protected by an armed occupant - it all seems like a bad idea. As has already been mentioned it suggests a bold thief that there may be guns to steal and b) if god forbid one ever does have to use their firearms for defensive purposes it’s “ammo” (no pun intended) for the assailant (or decedent)’s civil case lawyer.

No stickers or signs of any kind have ever and will never appear on my vehicles or in my front yard.
y American flag and Trump sign brought a few disparaging remarks from a neighbor a year ago. I laughed at him. And said, ”have a nice day, Cupcake”. He moved sharply after that. Can you imagine his reaction if he had known I was concealed carrying as I walked my dog?

As a Ham (Extra) we discuss this in regards to having vanity plates with your call sign.
Will it draw someone to steal the radio ? Some quick research will show your add. unless
you use a PO box, ect.
Do the BG's even know what it is ?
I don't have any vanity plates or decals myself. YMMV

Gray man or Gray woman - - it's not in the spirit of 'gray' when there are decals stating your political orientation, or what you may be in possession of. I do not have any stickers or decals or murals on my vehicle, just a plain stock look. From the book The Art of War it says, when you are strong appear weak, when you are weak appear strong. For us in motor vehicles I would say regardless of whether you're one or the other, don't advertise it.

Eh. Not much different than having a Montana license plate on your vehicle:
Montana is a Great State, but Michigan has more illegal handguns in Detroit than Montana and Wyoming combined🤣

Different from years gone by, people seem to be way more apt to vandalize things after being “triggered” by a sign or sticker. For some reason this has moved into “understandable behavior” in society.

Since I cannot post up on my sticker adorned vehicle and grocery shop at the same time, I choose to just not have stickers. Same with signs in my yard.

(My dad did have a political sign he used each election year. It looked like an actual poster for a candidate running for re-election, until you looked closer. It said “Re-Elect NO ONE! They all suck!” That generated a few comments back then.)
