Today was more of a test of load than a test of the 52-2 itself.

I had two bags of ten rounds of wad cutter. The loads were Clay 1.150 and 1.160 gr. which was not enough to eject the cases cleanly. We'd almost expected that.

Now will have a heavier load for the next trip. Perhaps tomorrow. Hodgdon Clay 2.7 gr., and trim min 1.160 to max length 1.170

We should be okay then.

I noticed right away that my grouping was tighter. The trigger pull must be about two pounds. Sweet :D:D:D

It is, I understand, this bushing that helps make the pistol as accurate as it is.

I think I ought to search around for a replacement just to be safe. It is a brand new/25 year old gun after all.
