I will try this next timeDon't depress the load assist button too much and give the rounds a chance to float around in the magazine. Keep light pressure at all times.

The key is to rest the magazine bottom on a firm surface, not hold it in your hand. Then pull the button down with the thumb AND the forefinger - one on each side of the button. Pull it down just enough to insert a round. Pull it down and insert another round.
You mean I have the speed of grandchildren? That's good, right? That's like getting carded at my old age.![]()
This might be my problem always hold the mags like I used to do in Army with M4/16 mags. Will try to do this, so does it matter the orientation of mag/ammo facing you, ie:face mag so inserting primer of round toward you then bullet would be facing away? Or doesn't matter?
I'm not seeing the convenience though. How is it more convenient? It is an extra system to do something your fingers can do in seconds. And from the scant info we have, possibly a flawed system.
I can load a magazine in 40 seconds timed. That's pretty hard to beat. I managed to get it down to about 32 seconds if the rounds are all in the correct orientation in my hand. I PERSONALLY don't see much advantage in this system.
IF it was motorized and did it in 10 seconds, sure.
Jeff 64, I have not noticed a difference with orientation of the magazine. Your body mechanic may dictate something different from mine though.

I have a loader for my Ruger MKIII 22/45 that I throw about 100 rounds into that really speeds up the loading process and costs about $25.
OK...I've bought one of these expensive units and so far after two hours, I have been able to get three bullets into the magazine. I will write more after the vendor tells me what he is going to do about it.

What about Skunk's tube drop system?
Out f hundreds of actuation s, only three bullets did not jam in the speed loader. If you have time,I'd like to know why only three in that amount of time. Please keep us posted on your outcome.
