Rate My 27-2

Hi ben_g1

The Model 27-2 that I've fired years ago was probably of late '70's manufacture. It had a recessed cylinder. It was absolutely beautiful. The bluing was incomparable. The gun looked liked it was of custom manufacture, yet the owner told me he bought it out of a gun shop gun case. The top of the barrel was knurled to perfection. The cylinder locked solidly. The action was butter smooth from the factory. And there was no doubt that that gun was manufactured to fire .357 Mag rounds at pressures that were originally intended for that cartridge. Finally, with magnum rounds, it was incredibly accurate. I've never fired any .357 Mag revolver that was as accurate.

I'm glad that S&W returned your gun to you in excellent condition. I know that it'll give you many, many years of fun and extremely accurate shooting.
