My two favorite loads are:
9.5 gr. Unique, for mid range
22 gr. 2400 or 17 gr. Blue Dot for heavy loads. As usual, work up to these two loads in your gun as they may not be safe.

Assuming you are shooting magnums, then ditto the 9.5 Unique for about 1000 fps and 21 gr 2400 for the full-house medium game load. This one WILL penetrate.

Anyone have pet loads for this bullet? mid range? top end?

It would have made things easier, and safer, if you were to specify what cartridge you are loading!!!!!!!!!

.44 Special 6.8 to 7.6 gr. Unique.

.44 Magnum 8.8 to 10.0 gr. Unique/ 20.5 to 21.5 2400.

Alk8944 is correct!

Folks, when you discuss loads PLEASE give the cartridge case you are loading. Some newbie may ASSUME and you know what that can lead to.

Your information is helpful, just be sure to name the case size (.44 Special, OR .44 Magum) there is a LOT of difference between the pressures allowed in the two different calibers.

In 44 mag brass; mid range 8.2 gr. 231 with std. primer, full power
24 gr. 296 with mag.primer. Mid range gives about 1000 fps. in 4-5/8"
Ruger and full power runs about 1400 fps. in 7-1/2" Ruger.
