Did a search and only found one thread that was from 2012, so I will start a new one. Here is the old one for reference from Calguns.net.....RCBS Primer Pocket Swager on Lee Classic Turret (LCT) Mod - Calguns.net
Recently purchased a RCBS primer Pocket Swager kit when Bullets.com was selling off all of their RCBS stock. Didn't know it would not work with my LCT without making modifications or buying an additional primer arm and cutting off the primer punch. The Ram does not retract enough to strip of the round due to the clamp for the indexing rod.
Contacted RCBS about the issue and received a return email from Tech Support saying "Sorry we don't have one that works". Then Received another Email from a different Tech saying he had one in the mail? A little confused but figured I would wait until the part got here.
Well, today got the replacement part from RCBS and they have a larger case stripper! Old one was .809 in height, new one was just over 1.005". It was also larger in diameter (1.123 vs 1.395)
It was just tall enough to make contact with the base of the press and function properly to remove the case from the swager head!
Here is a picture of the two parts.New part # is 7709489 for anyone who wants one to make it work with a LCT.
