re 65-5 3 inch

Just picked up a Mod 65-5 Lady Smith, SN Bpn559X, S&W catalog not handy. Can I get a ship date from someone? Almost Like new no box or docs but came with soft case. Like new condition probably 98% finish slight turn line. Any values lurking out there?

Mine is SN BPN57XX. 1993 manufacture. The shipping date on my box is 7/21/93 (per Julian date). Yours is close, earlier in the same year. (only on box)

Agree, probably 1993. As to value, I sold a -6 in the box (not new but nice) with papers/etc. for $800 last year. I have two -5s without box and wouldn't part with either for less than $800. Last one found as sold on GB was a -5 with the soft case for $1100 last month. Sounds a little high but probably not much given the prices we're seeing these days. Nice gun, you'll like it.
