What is the going ballpark price on a 3rd model 44HE, 5" barrel, that has a nickel refinish (fair), plated hammer and trigger with good mechanics. Lettering is readable as is logo. Grips are 1967 smooth target. I think I paid too much!!! Will have photos when it gets here, was only bidder on GB. I got hooked on this one. Note, looks like the hammer, trigger, ejector rod, and thumb latch were gold plated (washed)? Am I having buyer's remorse?

We have to see the pictures to know anything. Don't 2nd guess yourself until you have it in your hand. Might be a jewel in the rough.
I think I just found the gun on GB... if so, you paid a fair price. These make the greatest BBQ guns around--frequently that is what they really were: local sheriff, constable, etc. Sunday go to meetin' gun. Great shooters. You will love it.

Seriously, I have had buyer's remorse more than a few times. I think we all have. More than once I've been to the point of not really enjoying the gun...only to realize later that my "investment" was fine. Enjoy it now!
In hindsight I just wish I would have enjoyed them all from day one instead of waiting for somebody else to "pay too much" so I could feel like I did "okay" after all.

Just like buying Facebook stock at the IPO. It was priced far to high, but it caught up rapidly.
