Really like these 327 pc alloy eight shot revolvers

That's a shame....

Thanks for the reply Colt saa...

Got a R8 on lay away, and was figuring which one would be next... looks like it will be the 327PC...

I have shot a 627PC for several years. A friend was shooting the 327 PC JM version with titanium cylinder. I purchased one and found that it comes back on target faster than the all streel 627. This is with mild 38 Special loads as I only use either gun for steel challenge and the other pistol games.

I was at a local store/gunrange the other day, saw what I later found out was a TRR8, WOW! Quoting Will Smith in 'Independence Day', "woohoo, I GOTTA get me one of these!". Eight rounds, .357 mag, kinda makes me think twice about getting a 1911, actually makes me a bit depressed, can't afford either right now. Oh well, more motivation!

Im thinking I might pick up a set of the decelerator grips my next midway order. Last session with the 327 snub I ran one cylinder full of combat 357 really fast. the draw speed and accuracy was fantastic but it was the end of a 4 hour shooting binge and I didn't complete the drill, (normally I empty all three moon clips as fast as I can). My hand stung a bit much and after everything else i just didnt feel like continuing to shoot.

can someone who has the Pachmar decelerators comment on there draw speed and how much those grips stick to clothing. I would apreciate a comparison between my wood hogues and those grips. Covering the backstrap seems like a real good idea, I might also just have bruising on the inside of my thumb metacarpal. Wood grips on a 340 m&P are pretty but a really bad idea.

I would love to own one of the new 327's or 329's but refuse to own a revolver with a lock in it. I've owned three lock revolvers and managed to lock all three up at the range on multiple occasions. Simply, and not trying to stir the pot, but I don't trust the lock guns. Suffice to say, they do look nice and light. I thought about adding one to the collection and having the lock removed but I'm not sure that is legal either. So for now- I'll keep old steel pre lock guns. I'm sure there are people who never had an issue but for some reason I was unlucky and experienced problems with all three that I owned.

Thats really unlucky. i have three and after thousands of rounds there hasnt been one single lock malfunction. they do have those annoying FTF from the short pins but an easy $13 to cylinder and slide cures the problem. Since then zero problems.

Hogue Round Butt for TRR8

Do you know if the above grip would fit the TRR8? I prefer the round butt version for feel. I know the 627 are square/round interchangeable but wasn't sure about the TRR8. By the way, sweet looking weapon!

Yea, any n frame round but grip will fit on the trr8, mine came with hogues. If your referring to the spiegel grips. Then yes, they will fit but there not so easy to find.
