We still need a "green with envy" smilie.

That is a wonderful specimen. Thanks for sharing.

Bruce, I hate to tell you but that's a fake. Real S&Ws have turn rings on the cylinder.

Iggy, you can combine smilies to get the desired effect. The green "Big Grin" smiley next to the "Eek!" smiley I think conveys the message you want to send.

Seriously, nice box. The gun is OK too. : pout :

(Hmm, no code conversion on that last string, so it looks like there is no "petty disdain" smiley available to us here.)

I'm envious, of course.

Holy Cow bd! Could you make me one too? I just about fell out of my chair when that photo came up, and it's a recliner. Magnificent firearm. How about some details? How long have you had it and where did you find it?

Wow!
"That .357 S & W Revolver is so sanitary and bright that even the Virgin Mother Herself would be proud to have that in her safe:D

Joking on a Holy day about guns and movies my not go over to good :o

Pristine Gun and I will be looking for one.

Ya know, I've learned a lot during my relatively short tenure on this forum.

But I can say this with authority.....anyway you look at it that gun is worth $50!

Hey, ain't that one of them old pre-MIM S&Ws with the sorry hammer-mounted firing pin and a "rough and gritty" trigger the folks on the 1980-to-present forum are talking about?:D

Seriously, that one is a real beauty. "The choicest product of the brewer's art," as they used to say in the old beer commercial.

Bruce, don't you or Bill Cross have just ONE revolver with the blue worn off the barrel or a big ol' scrach down the side plate where Uncle Buck used his knife to take out the screw?

No?

That's OK, I have enough of those for all of us.

GF

"Rig" I thought you where going to tell us it was a special order model 27 that J Edgar Hover ordered with a matte finish, That is one sweet S&W thanks for posting the pictures, I too am a little green with envy.
