Something New...

When you go to the Milano website, Milano Online Rebate Inquiry
to check on your rebate, there are now TWO WAYS to check for your info:

1. Enter your 5-digit zipcode AND your last name

or,

2. Enter your 10-digit phone number AND your 5-digit zipcode AND your last name.

If you have multiple rebates submitted at different times they might show up if you check both ways.

On 6/26/17 I submitted the online rebate form. So far, all the Milano site is reporting :
"There is no record of a claim with the information provided."

"Please verify that the phone number, zip code, and last name were entered correctly."

"The claim may not be available at this time, please call 866-963-7933 for additional assistance."

If you submitted yours more than a month earlier than me, and are not seeing anything, then I guess I'll be waiting a long time.

Rampo, I submitted mine about a month before you and mine just came up on the rebate site.

rebate status

I submitted mine initially on 6/23. Figured there may have been a hitch since there was no kind of confirmation email, so I resubmitted on 7/4. No email or status on Milano page. I'm kind of surprised truthfully. I've done the gear rebate packages with Springfield armory twice now and it was much different. Got a confirmation email immediately plus another one within a couple weeks saying it had been processed and that I would be receiving my items. I'm interested in purchasing another Smith that would qualify for the rebate, but as of now I'm kind of hesitant to and leaning more toward the Springfield package. :rolleyes:

Milano phone #

I called the listed phone number last week and a recording came on. Said you could leave your # and they would get back with you. I did not get a return call. When I called today, it said the voice mailbox was full.:eek:

Wouldn't it be nice if those who are NOT concerned about their rebates stopped ridiculing those who expect reasonable feedback, promptness and professionalism from Smith & Wesson in processing their rebate(s)?

We all know that rebates take awhile to process. But, this is a 75 dollar rebate, not a 75 cent rebate and being stuck in the "Milano Black Hole" of:
No feedback after you submit a rebate;
No answer on their hotline if you call to check on it;
No consistency in their processing and mailing time;
And, the apparent lack of Smith & Wesson top management concern;
seem to be valid reasons for some to be disappointed and annoyed with how things are being handled.

It probably would be, but y'all are talking about these rebates like you were expecting the Pope's golden undies, and those of us who have bought a qualifying pistol and are kinda lazily waiting on the check are laughing. You'll get it. Relax. . .

I've seen several people mention that they've submitted the same rebate more than once...myself included.
Milano created a lot of extra work for themselves when they setup such a crappy website with problems such as allowing you to "Submit" without the documentation attached (it shouldn't allow you to proceed until you have uploaded the documentation) and not providing a confirmatory email that it was received.
Just seems real second-rate for a company with the resources of S&W.

What nobody seems willing to admit is that psycho ADHD purchasers not believing that their submission was accepted, resulting in multiple submissions, may have slowed the process down as Milano tried to figure out what was going on . . .

It's all by serial number. Maybe they should hire an NSA guy to smooth it out.

Someone said it another thread I think, and I agree...I paid a lower than usual price to begin with for a really great firearm. It has a rebate, and if I don't get the rebate money for whatever reason, it's not gonna kill me. It's not like I lost any money. But it would be nice.

That being said, I did get mine a couple weeks ago. Cool.

My stance is this, and some may not like it, but here goes:
If you spent $350, $400, or even $450 and are hoping and praying you get that $75 rebate because you really, really need that money - perhaps you shouldn't have spent that $350, $400 or $450 in the first place. Just sayin'.

I really don't see a reason for multiple submissions of the same serial number. That would be contrary to terms and conditions. After all, the confirmation came instantly, the next web page was "we have received... Print this screen for your records".
It is disappointing that they apparently won't speed this up so that 6/30 submissions are accepted by the 7/31 end date.

Milano says mine shipped 6/29 but I haven't received squat. Tempted to call them but I suppose I could wait another two weeks.
