Judging from every rebate program I have ever been a part of -- 8 weeks from July 21, minimum. That seems to be about standard.

Just forget about the rebate. If you ever get it, be thankful. Smith and Wesson can't tell you when you'll get it, if ever.

I submitted the rebate for a Bodyguard (50 buck gift card) and got it in 17 days.

I submitted mine for my M2.0 9mm on September 7th and FedEx just dropped mine off an hour ago. A few days over the 12 week mark.

If you're asking about the current $50 rebate on pistols and BG380, it looks like this.

I think what S&W has done is draw a line at a particular date (after my July 25 rebate submission) after which they're trying to meet the 8-10 week commitment. Those before that date are just screwed and will be fulfilled when they are caught up on the latter submissions. That way, they don't p*** off all their customers, just those earlier submissions they have written off.

They do take a while. But, I got all my rebates and extra mags from Smith and Wesson eventually.
