Received my standard mfg. SAA UPDATE #10. 7/10 It's back #41

"Regardless I fixed it for you and I wont charge you for shipping even though I should." That, plus the snotty "We're not Amazon Prime" banner
tells me all I need to know about the corporate "attitude." I've seen one
at our LGS, and it was nice looking, but also had a zip tie around the hammer so it could not be cycled. Apparently we're supposed to pay about $2000 for a revolver without checking timing, lockup, trigger, etc.

Not bloody likely. Even if they were as good as USFA, that attitude will ensure that I never buy one of their products, even used. Who needs jerks like that "supporting" your handgun if something goes wrong?

Barf.

Thanks for the warning,
John

It's a premium product. They should have apologized and made it right. A phone call to you would have been appropriate rather than a rude email. I have wanted one and Yours is beautiful. Thanks for alerting me to your experience.

One of my friends liked my USFA Single Action, and I was going to recommend that he get a Standard. Now I'll recommend that he look for a USFA.

For my money, the Uberti is the best value in a working gun. Just picked up a like new .44 Special Cimarron for the princely sum of 349.00 plus tax and shipping. For a fine gun to fondle, occasionaly target practice, and leave back for the grandkids, Colt is my choice. I had a USFA and it was every bit the equal of my Colt, in truth.
