I have a pistol receiver blank forging that wasn't finished. It has the big barstock end and i think is the 3rd of 4 strikes. Are these plentiful or hard to come by? I've got it at my other house on the wall and always thought it was pretty cool. I think it is an N frame. In 93 I got the tour at S&W and watched the forges they used, Shook the whole end of the building. also got to handle the carbon molds that they use as the dies to form the receivers, Loved the tour
