I recently picked up a couple of new revolvers. A nice shooting grade Model 19-2, 4" bbl, ser#K682534, I found at a local gun show The blueing is kind of bloctchy, but it shoots great!

I also found a M29-2, 6.5" bbl, ser#S270065 with some tools and the end of the original cardboard box at my LGS. The blueing looks great, but is worn at the end of the barrel and the red ramp insert looks a little funky. Also, a nice shooter. Both have what appear to be original diamond target grips.

I'd be VERY happy with that pair for Christmas. Nice to see the grips weren't harvested and sold separately. A very annoying trend with the older guns.

Nice! Reminds me of this:

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?"

I've been looking for a Model 29 with 8 3/8" barrel, ala Taxi Driver with Robert De Niro. :D
