recent acqusitions

these are two of my latest. first one is only my second ruger to make my permanent collection. second is a gun I have wanted since forever along with a 22 lr kit for it.

Great score! I haven't seen one of those in at least 30 years. Does anybody still make ammo for it?
Ok, it may be rude to ask, but I gotta know. How much did that cost ya?

The ammo for the Hawkeye can be made by necking down .357 brass IIRC.

the sig is a former swiss military that came with the issue holster and extra mag. doesn't look to have been shot very much. the 22 kit came in it's box that is green in color. the hawkeye has been shot very little. it was probably in a collection since it was new. I found brass and have 100 with two powders and two different bullets. as to the inquirer about cost, I felt it was a bargain. I was prepared to own it regardless. i have never been in the right place at the right time to own one. plan to shot both of these and some other guns bought over the course of the winter.

The 210 is an amazing pistol,but the mag release is a real pain. I was fortunate to find mine years ago for the paltry sum of $1100. At the time,I agonized over ponying up that much cash. Now,I'm glad I did. The Swiss issued models are extremely hard to find and the accessories you have make a great package! Congrats!
