Its seems the interest in nice and clean pristine snubbys is on the rise. $500 and up is comman for very nice ones in the box and $400-500 for well used clean non-pinned and recessed later guns. I seen a nickle P-R 99% go for $650 in the box. And I thought that was a good buy. He beat me to it!!

I think it's that way everywhere but sometimes you get lucky and snag a deal. I bought a mint Model 64 no dash for $450 3 months ago and a Pre Model 36 5 screw in %90 condition for $475.

Couple of Data Points

In 2008 (last half of year) I bought two model 19 snubbies, both in perfect condition. I paid $550 for one and $445 for the other.

And I dont have a pic yet, A mint 64-2, 2" for 250.
Both from local shops, Right place at right time I guess.
But on most part, Prices are rising swiftly.

I broke my own rule and went to a gun show last week (Fredericksburg VA) with insufficient cash. I had to walk away from a 2.5" 19-? (P&R)with two tiny rust spots for $395.

I'm taking a second mortgage out before the next show. I don't want to experience that sense of loss again!

I am going to a gun show in Nashville this weekend. Maybe I will get lucky. I am going to try to sell a Kahr-T9 and a Glock-34. Hope I can get a good deal on a S&W. Maybe a 19 snub.
