The standard weight recoil spring for models 645, 745, 4506 and, believe it or not, 1006 is part number 201610000. For wadcutters in the .45 acp models, it's part number 200710000.

Hi HG. Now when you say standard, do you mean 1911 springs?

No, those are the given weights of the S&W springs. The 4500 series guns have slightly longer recoil rods and springs in them then 1911s'. I've used as low as 8# with a light target load in a 845 Bullseye gun and as high as a 20# in a 10mm.
