Recommendations for a Shield Plus IWB?

I have gone thru 3 IWB holsters for my Shield Plus and all 3 had the same problem - pinching the skin between the kydex and the mag release - - especially when re-holstering. Seems I can't find a holster maker that makes an IWB that covers the mag release. The 2 that I contacted state they are not covered for fear of accidental release. I can't imagine that if the kydex was extended past the release and given enough of a bump-out and return to prevent it from touching the release would be such a major ordeal. Anyone else deal with this?

None of mine cover the mag release, never felt pinching there either. Maybe open the area up more so there's a bigger gap between the button and the kydex?

Perhaps a small flap of leather would be sufficient to cover that area.

I carry lefty so I wouldn't have that problem. I have never changed a mag release, I think hitting it not with your thumb is objectively better.

Try CYA holsters. They make a great IWB holster and they all cover the mag release.
I've bought 3 of then and I don't even know i'm wearing them.
Veteran owned too.

I've had good luck with my CrossBreed AIWB holster (kydex and leather), and I use a Clinger Cushion to keep the butt tight pressed against my body. It doesn't completely cover the mag release, but may keep you from being pinched.

What he said. You can buy one of these from Amazon for about $40. Be sure and get the one for Shield Plus. The one for the older Shield will press on the magazine release.
