If you can see the LED projector while using the sight, you are using it wrong.
You should be looking at the target and have the dot hovering in your field of view. The tube and definitely the projector should be blurring into close distance clutter. If you can see the projector clearly you're looking for the DOT while shooting, not looking for the target and using the correct technique to bring the dot where it needs to be.

Or only read the last post of the thread or are totally clueless as to what steel challenge is all about.I get the feeling that many of you chiming in here either missed that the OP wanted something for the steel challenge matches or aren't familiar with them.

Lol... bought this scope for my 15-22 on Amazon for $37 and absolutely love the thing. Well-built, red/green dot have brightness controls and it's pretty easy to adjust the MOA. To quote my son after I got it dead on zeroed at 50 yards- "Dad, it takes the challenge out of it... it's like a video game now."
I read all the posts. I knew this started in Jan 2013. I was curious how many responses wer actually "on topic" by someone who seemed to have a clue what steel challenge is.Or just read the last post and don't realize the OP asked the question in Jan 2013. Hopefully they have purchased a RDS at this point.![]()
