Red dot of choice for CORE

Do you mean ICORE(International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts) or Congress of Racial Equality? Actually both like guns.

ICORE shooters who use dots mostly use the original C-More heads up style.

I believe that the OP was referring to the M&P Pro Series 9L C.O.R.E.

S&W apparently prefer the Deltapoint.

I have this on my CORE... replaced the J Point red dot with this one. I like the glass len better and it's wider than most others
Leupold only makes the Delta point pro now and neither S&W or Leupold make the adapter for it for the C.O.R.E. It mounts differently from the Delta point. Can't find anyone that has any of the plain Delta Points.

i use a Leupold Delta-point on mine, i especially like that the iron sights co-witness thru the lense. the trijicon rmr sights work well on the core also

I have an old Optima Pro 2000 (same as the Jpoint) that I'll throw on for now.

I am using the JP Jpoint sight, so far it has been awesome. It is one of the few, so far, that allow for you to co-witness with the factory sights. It is also reasonably priced, if you shop around a bit you can score one and still afford to buy some ammo. The CORE pistol also comes with a factory base plate for the JP sight and that's a bonus too.

Got a new 8MOA ordered and coming. Which dot did you go with? Never mind, just saw that it was the 4MOA

I just put a vortex venom on my pro core .40 and love it. It does not co-witness well but makes hitting 6 inch plates at 50 yards offhand easy. Very clear.

Trijicon RM07

First outing with about 500 rounds.

So far still working great.

This pistol has become my "Off the Farm" carry.

The Comp-Tac Flatline rides high, is comfortable, and allows the M&P 40 PC Ported to be easily concealed.

The Comp-Tac Paddle is very comfortable but rides somewhat lower.

This looks awesome! What version of the C.O.R.E is that??

Anyone know offhand if there is a version of the 9c that's optics ready?

I put the Burris FastFireII, it can cowitness, but at first zeroing is a bitch because the rear iron sight is on the way of the adjusting screws, but once zero is all done, the 4-dot MOS is big enough and easy to follow and for less than $200 is awesome. I'd rather put the money to save for my next gun..

I asked S&W CS about that three weeks ago. She said they don't have any plans for one.
I suggested that they should produce a Compact CORE seeing as Sig will be bringing out their 320 Carry with an optic this year.

Maybe a few more calls from others will get Smith started.

I'm running the Trijicon RMR04 on my M&P9 PC. It cowitnesses in the lower third with the sights.

I was really happy I went with the dual illumination as a few had their batteries go dead during Sunday's steel shoot. :D
