Red dot "Sighting in"

These are the guidelines for using the Laserlyte bore sighter.
We use it for scopes, red dots, irons, and adjust as necessary
for distance.
When looking at the bore sight dot, thru the red dot window,
the bore sight's illumination level appears less that it actually is.
We have a 30' length area in the house.

Just sighted in a laser grip on a 22 WMR revolver with a LaserLyte: took about 7 minutes...

Cheers!

P.S. Man, was that ever a small hex key!

I use the mechanical pistol rest at my club's indoor range. My irons are sighted in. For the red dots on my pistols, I just fire a round after checking that my irons are lined up with the dot centered just above the front sight. Once I see where the round went, I adjust the red dot to the hole created by the first round and fire another round. That usually does the job. I use my EDC self defense round to do this, then remove the rest and switch to a box of range ammo to verify. This usually works well for me. YMMV

Mine doesn't allow for co-witness of the irons so I just shot off a rest and made adjustments like others have said.

I was a decent pistol shot with irons, but wow, talk about accurate with a Delta Point!
