Senator Lindsey Graham has held hearings in support of radical "red flag" gun confiscation which is having language added into the bill H.R.1585. This bill is supposed to protect/help battered women but this gun confiscation language snuck into the bill could actually take guns away from women that need to protect themselves.
This bill is up for vote so soon that letters to senators may get there to late. A phone call to your representatives is needed if you appose this red flag gun grabbing from being law. This gun grabbing red flag goes against so many constitutional rights it is a shame it even is coming up for a vote. Well that's why it is being snuck into a bill up for vote.
Check out the GOA link below and decide if you feel it is necessary that you make a phone call to your representatives.

I sent off the info to both of my senators. I sure hope they have staff who can figure out all the verbiage in that!!!

Senate vote imminent - call senators NOW! - Gun Owners of America.

These New Hampshire bills are HB109, HB514, and HB564. To refer to them as "gun grabbing" bills is stretching it a bit, in my opinion, since none of them involve actual gun confiscation.

Anyway, as of June 16, none of those bills have come up for a vote in New Hampshire's Senate. They're probably all in one committee or another right now.

HB109 (Requiring background checks for commercial firearms sales) passed the House on 6/13/2019 by a vote of 196-161, with 35 legislators abstaining from even voting on it.

HB514 (Imposing a waiting period between the purchase and delivery of a firearm) passed the House on 6/13/2019 by a vote of 197-160, again with 35 abstentions.

HB564 (Relative to possession of firearms on school property) has not yet come up for a final vote in the House.

I don't know how many forum members live in New Hampshire, but you still have time to make your opinions known to your governor and legislators.

Both of my senators, as well as my representative, are in favor of any bill that seeks to control, limit, or ban anything to do with privately owned firearms. My senators like to claim that they are supporters of the second amendment, but with "common sense" restrictions.

They really do think the people are stupid don't they? Common sense is shall not infringe means keep your opinions to yourself and leave the guns in the hands of the people.

NH House and Senate passed those mentioned plus red flag bill,HB 696. We are urging Gov Sununu to veto them all. He did promise and deliver on CC. Attached is his letter to me expressing support for our Firearms Freedom. As of now our Governor is very unhappy that the Dem controlled Executive Council rejected his State Supreme Justice nominee because he had extremist connections. That means he is an NRA supporter. We are in for a political battle for our freedom.

I’m confused. Is this thread about New Hampshire legislation or national legislation promoted by Senator Graham?

I quoted a concern about NH gun law threats in this thread and gave an update on the status of those bills and posted the NH` Governors response to my objections to the gun laws passed and on his desk.
Not to confusing. This just highlights a battle we all face not just at the Federal level but state by state. To answer your question, it is about both.
Hope this clears up your confusion at least a bit.

How can ANY Red Flag law that involves confiscation be Constitutionally legal?

Innocent until proven guilty.
