Red Or Green Laser?

Fixing to purchase a flashlight-laser combo for a AR15. And have only had red lasers before and own several now. And never even seen a GREEN laser in person. But thinking about getting a Green laser and wondering Pro's and Con's of the Green Laser? I've read they seem to be better in day light or brighter light situations?

Just like some input, before I pull the trigger, so to speak!

What would your preference be?

Green lasers (I have 3) are much brighter than red, but they're battery hogs. Much easier to see in the daylight and a longer range.

I have a bunch of red and only one green. During the day the red is useless, but the green is great. The only problem is Crimson Trace is charging far too much $ for the green. I am a CT fan , but I won't pay what they are asking and I`ll wait for a competors lower price .

Neither. Lasers are a waste of money. If you want something for your AR, get a good red dot.

Either one will show just how steady your hands ain't for sure. I do have a not real expensive red dot sight on a .22 rifle with dot changeable to red, green, or blue. The blue is great in the woods squirrel hunting.

Watched an interview with the CEO of CT. Their test showed the green was easier to see in the daylight and was about even in the dark with red. Green is supposed to be easier for the eye to pick up. Didn't elaborate on the tests for that. He said the biggest drawback of the green is the shorter battery life.

Neither. Lasers are a waste of money. If you want something for your AR, get a good red dot.

I'm red dotted out! My AR's look like they came from the Black Ops 10 game. I just thought a Green Laser/Flashlight Combo would up date my favorite AR10?

Well..if you insist on getting one, then I'd go with the green because of daylight visibility.
I bought a CT rail master a while back. Tried it on my M&P hand guns, my 1911 & my AR. Never liked it. To each there own.

Green has much better day time visibility and night time is just as good as the red ..

If you get one least get a good one .. you will be much happier then a cheap one that doesn't have the extras a good one does .. and which you will be able to use on any weapon with a rail .

My Viridian has the flashlight with variable strobe and is fun to use .. I use it on my 9mm for shooting at coyotes at night that come up in my yard around my barn ..

its also a good training aid in dry firing your weapon .. will show any movement or flinch you have when trigger pulling ..
