A reintroduced the M-13 Aircrewman with a titanium cylinder (& aluminum frame) would be a handy little revolver.

The "Aircrewman" was never a commercial model, but simply the USAF issued Model 12. Therefore there is no way for the USAF M-13 could be "reintroduced" as a commercial model. Requests for a Scandium version of the model 12 is very frequently requested! Just FWIW I would like an SC version myself. I believe there was already a "Nightguard" .38 that was dropped very quickly.

I don't understand your second sentence. There was an identical commercial version called the Model 12 Airweight. The only difference was the markings. Am I just the dumbest kid in school?

Don't they kinda make that "style" of gun still? The 340PD, 360PD. I put a Ti cylinder on my 442 and saved some money. I assume you want a hammer like the original? Could add Ti cylinder to the 637.

Maybe I'm way off here.

I have a 340PD but it’s a five shot J Frame. A six shot K Frame snubnose with titanium cylinder would be a nice revolver. Until then, I’ll continue to carry my 340PD.

Way back in my Puppy Dog Days- went on a ROTC Trip to Barksdale AFB, near Shreveport.
The B-47s were just starting to pull Nuc Alert and we went down to visit them.
They were located in trailers down at the end of the runway.
Couldn’t ask about their mission, targets, or Weapons.
Was surprised to see them wearing Revolvers. We could talk about those!
I recall seeing Colts. Don’t recall if everyone had a Colt, but the Revolver that was passed to me was a Colt.
