I've read only positive things about Remora holsters, but I'd love to hear feedback from users on this forum.
Questions:
Sweat Shield or no SS?
Reinforced top or no RFT?
Regular or lower cut?

I have an M&P 9mm compact.

Thanks!

All of that is going to depend on what you want and need. I like a Remora with sweat shield on some of my guns, both to protect a delicate blue gun and also to protect me from pokes with the hammer. Neither would cause me to want a sweat shield on the M&P Compact you reference.

I've got a couple with reinforced tops and several without. The ones without are thinner. I like my revolver holsters to have RFT to minimize the potential of the cylinder twisting against the bolt when I'm engaged in vigorous activity. I don't care one way or the other about the ability to reholster. Personally, I'd opt for the no RFT if it were my M&P Compact at issue.

I don't have any of the lower cut Remoras (which is interesting, as I've got over a dozen of them for different guns). Don't know if you'd like it or not; standard has always suited me dandy.

Tell Alan and Jacqui that Erich says "Hi!" when you order; they're great folks. :) Oh, and welcome to the forum!

The folks at Remora say the lower cut benefits larger hands and larger guns, but it seems like a lower cut would increase the ability to draw.
Do your guns ever fall out of the holsters? I imagine you're not standing on your head (!), but still....no problems?

I wish I would have gotten the lower cut for my full size M&P. I did get the reinforced top and like that.

My guns have never fallen out of my Remoras, mountain biking, doing yardwork, lying around. They're cinched in with the belt.

I have the sweat shield, but not the reinforced top. If I had to do it again I would probably get the reinforced top because its a little hard to reach around and reholster. However, if this is for cc then there really should not be much reason to remove and reholster unless you would are going into a posted business. For the range I will just use something else. Its a good product and inexpensive.

I ordered one directly from Alan. He said to go with the soft top ART, so I'll give it a try. If I like it, I'll get another one with a sweat shield for hot hikes here in the summer.

I got my new Remora 6ART today. It fits the gun well and it stays put. I didn't get the free mag holder as promised by Alan, but the holster is great! I might order an extra one with the sweat shield to use during our muggy summers.

Well after reading all the reviews and watching some youtube videos I ordered two Remora's. One for my newly aquired M&Pc and my Kahr CM9. Excited to give them a try.

Every time I try a different holster I always seem to come back to Remora. I recommend them 1000%. I own a Remora for every gun I've owned. Alan is good people.

I'm up to 4 Remora holsters. Only 1 has a RT, and I really don't like it as much as the others.

I've been wearing my new Remora for only a week and I can't believe the comfort from a iwb style holster. Standard Remora, no options, my M&P9 slide is fully covered with only the grip exposed up through the tail. Stays put, easy in-easy out. Going to order more for the rest of my pistols!

I have two Remora holsters. One for my LCP and one for my 3913. The LCP holster is plain Jane, but the 3913 has the full sweat shield. I figured a bigger gun would probably cause more sweating and the decocker would be pressing into my side otherwise. I am happy with both. I agree, Alan is good people providing good service at reasonable prices. Very quick too.

I received my two magazine holders from Alan today---they are NICE! They stay put. Thanks Remora!! Great product, great customer service, and fast shipping.

I ordered one for my M&P9c and my Kahr CM9. I love them. So comfortable and I love the flexibility with carry positions. They stay put. Period. I've only been carrying the M&P since I got it but the Kahr holster is very nice and has a place for a spare mag.

I continue to be amazed how little they move without clips, and the versatility of pocket carry is just an added bonus for the smaller ones.
