Removing Lead and Powder Fouling on Nickel Cylinder?

Kerosene, deisel fuel, Marvel MYSTERY OIL followed by a firm scrubbing with emory cloth. Bingo.
Or you could use "flitz" or.......

I've had very good results using "E-Z Brite Wonder Cloth"; it just wipes away deposits on the front of the cylinder. Be sure to use it only on nickeled or stainless guns. It WILL remove bluing. It's available from Dillon and others. Check Dillonprecision.com for availability.

Plus another one for Flitz, I use it after scubbing the little devils with solvent.

I just use the wire brush that came with the Charbroil. NOT! I'm a Flitz guy too.

Lead away cloths contain a acid base. They work very well on stainless but will mess up Blued Guns and over time will eat away Nickle Plating. Once or twice probably will not harm Nickle. Definitely stay away from any Ammonia based cleaners on Nickle.

If it's electroless use whatever you want. As a rule don't use a copper solvent on electroplated.
