Repairing A Boyt Pistol Rug

I have a tan vintage Boyt pistol rug that the zipper has busted. Does anyone know of a shop or person who repairs these? I contacted Boyt only to be told everything they now have is made in China and they don't do repairs on replacement. What a shame.

I can send photos if needed.

The case is very special to me and my Son.

Don't laugh, but I would look for a really good local seamstress and replace the zipper.

Or a shoe repair shop. (Think of all the zippered boots.)

Ask the price FIRST!

I'm sure any dry cleaners that do repairs can fix a zipper

Might cost you more for the repair than buying a new one - but I understand that all so well
