Guys what is the best way to repair a small chip on on the bottom side of k frame stocks thanks marc

You would go about the repair the same way you would repair furniture. There are stainable wood fillers, you would have to experiment to find the correct color. There are pastes in various colors that can be mixed. There are waxy crayons that you rub over the chip to fill in. Or you could upgrade to any number of nicer wood stocks. Or you could consider it character, and make up a story explaining how it happened. The repair will always be noticeable to you, so unless the grips are numbered to the gun, extremely rare, or special wood. put them in the package the replacement stocks come in and save them.
