Need an opinion please.
I swapped out my stock front site (a Baughman ramp) on a 5" M625-2. for a .243 Patridge sight). I got it sighted in properly but only after the adjustment screw on the rear sight blade was completely screwed down. It works but there's no more play in the adjustment.
I found out later that the standard front sight for the 625 is .270. That would make sense. I wouldn't have had to screw the rear site blade to its limit.
That said, it seems to be very accurate with the loads I use.
Should I swap out the .243 for the .270 or just call it a day?
