Anyone have a replacement barrel in an M&P? My barrel has always looked a little rough. Lots of drag marks from dull tooling. I have been thinking about replacing it with an aftermarket barrel. Any thing good out there for aftermarket barrels?

I have a Storm Lake 9mm conversion barrel for my 40c.
Works great.
It is Stainless so easy to differenciate between 40 stock barrel and conversion barrel.

You can get a stock S&W barel from midway for about $70. If you have the .40 cal you can add the 9mm and .357 sig barels as well.

I have Spring Lake in my 40 FSLIC but use a 9/40 conversion. I also have a 9/40 conversion in my 9 Pro.

Polish her up!

I love the polished look. I want a new barrel because my bore is a beat up. Lots of tool marks. I have another post about barrel fit in the slide. I am wondering if a new barrel would fix the barrel slop in the slide.

I see. Yeah, a new barrel might go a long way to correct your issues.

Anyone have any experience with KKM barrels?? Are they drop in and how do they shoot?

Groovy....Go to the thread "M&P 9mm Accuracy Issues?" and on the 2nd page there is a post by Keefus that refers to a barrel report on the MP9 by Hilton Yam. You can access it from the post. He talks about the KKM there.

I have used Storm Lake for years and have two of them in a couple of my M&P's.....always good.
