Replacement stock Rem 700 ADL to BDL?

I have a Rem ADL short action that has a blind box magazine. Have located the same but BDL youth stock for my grandson. Will the BDL floor plated stock work with the ADL action? Screw holes line up, etc?

Yes as long as you get the floor plate

You could also get a single shot floor plate from Sinclair International (Much less expensive) and block it in place. All my current 700's have this floorplate!

I am turning a Remington 700 ADL long action .270 into a BDL Douglas varmint barrel 6mm/.284. I had to buy a different mag box ( ADL is taller than a BDL), follower and spring, longer front action screw (replacement stock is thicker).
