I have a 64-5 I bought at a pretty good price but I did not like the trigger pull on it.
I wound up ordering a Wilson Combat Custom-Tune Spring Kit S&W K, L, N-Frame from Midway and put in the hammer spring and the lightest trigger return spring. I began having light primer strikes on my reloads. I went up in weight on the trigger return spring and still have light primer strikes. Put in the heaviest Wilson Combat trigger return spring and I'm still having light primer strikes.
is the preferred method to keep the stock hammer spring and adjust the trigger return spring weight? I'm kind of disappointed in the results.
I'm not really interested in switching to Federal Primers (I'm using CCI/Winchester/Magtech/Remington) now....
