Hello,
I have a 1993 S&W Performance Center, Lew Horton, Model 66-4, FCOMP .357 revolver.

The front sight Tritium H3 lamp has decayed through it's half lives and is now dark in this 30 year old revolver.

I want to replace it but I am not sure where to send it to be worked on.

Can anyone tell me if Trijicon Inc. was the company that the Lew Horton group used to install the Tritium H3 front sight of this revolver?

Nathan

I'd reach out directly to Trijicon. If they did it, they will be happy to replace the lamp. If not the S&W Performance Center can help you.

Possibly send Trijicon a GOOD close up pic of the sight if they aren't sure. They are the most likely the original source.
Don't forget that since it's a revolver you'll be legally on the hook for fairly expensive shipping unless you can get a dealer to mail it to them

Interesting, My F-Comp does not have a Tritium front sight. It is more of the older Millett style red post.

My F-Comp is much younger having been manufactured in the early 2000s. This sight is easy to see in most any light

If your F-Comp's front sight vial is anything like what was used on the L-Comps, it is so small it does not hold enough H3 to be bright enough for most older eyes anyway.

I can tell you that Trijicon did the L-Comp sights. Odds are they did yours too
