Good Morning,
I inherited a pistol from my father that I am interested in finding out it's history/info. Specifically I am hoping to confirm the model and date of manufacture. I have spent a fair amount of time looking but seem to have hit a wall, so I am hoping someone here can help me. From what I have found I believe it is a "Terrier" model.

Here are the details:

*Five Shot Revolver.
*Blue Finish, wood grips.
*.38 S&W caliber.
*Serial #56825.
*Barrel length is 2".
*Fixed sights.
*It has a strain screw.
*It is a five screw design.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Welcome! From your description, and if it is stamped .38 S & W (not SPL) on the right barrel I think you have a .38/32 Terrier as you mentioned. One clue to this model with a five-screw frame is the cylinder is noticeably smaller than the frame window. The similar .38 Chiefs Special's cylinder fills the entire frame space.

Agree that photos would help here.
