Hi folks!

I bought from my local armorer, today, a Model 15-3, four incher with wood grips in nickel (factory job -- trigger and hammer still case colored), for "Three and change". All stampings are crisp, including other numbers on crane, one encirled.

I am requesting the wisdom of "the elder monks of the Temple of Smith and Wesson", as to the birthdate of this fine piece.

The S/N in question is: 5K145xx. My armorer said all tolerances were tight. Action, (as posted article suggested to test piece in store before buying), had no sloppiness, nor time lag, nor mechanical movement when not desired.

Thank you, and Happy Yule!

The Sacred Scroll (The Std, Catalog) doth say forsooth. Thy revolver wast born in the Year of Our Lord 1973.
I been called a lot of things, elder maybe (I'm 45) but a MONK? I was raised Baptist, I don't think so...... Maybe a Deacon.

Dear P@Rfan,

I'm a licensed Pagan priest, so please don't be insulted as being "an Elder Monk of The Temple of Smith and Wesson".

BTW, instead of 'sacred scroll', for 'the book' (remember the movie Circle of Iron and it's book?), why not Grimoire? Isn't the use of firearms, a form of Alchemy?

To you, Merry Christmas, from me, Happy Yule!
