Dear Senator Bradley,
Thank you for your reply but I would still like to know your position on semi-automatic AR-15 style rifles and high capacity magazines.
What does "not to be Infringed" mean to you? I also agree with you that firearms need to be kept out of the hands of people with mental health issues that could pose a threat to people around them. I also understand the tight budget restraints we are all under. I think enforcing the existing laws on the books needs to be done, we do not need more laws...we need positive action that will make a difference.
Sincerely,
John Hackett

Dear Mr. Hackett,
Thank you for your email about the 2nd Amendment.
Our Constitution gives Americans, on an individual basis, the right to keep and bear arms to protect their lives, liberties, and loved ones. I support this right under our Constitution.
I believe, in light of the recent tragedies, our nation must do a better job of enforcing existing laws. I also believe that our state must improve its mental health services, which will be a priority for me in our next budget, with the understanding that revenue will be constrained by the sluggish economy.
Thank you again for your email.
Sincerely,
Senator Jeb Bradley

Dear Congressman Bradley,
Thank you for your reply. I believe that our stand on the Second Amendment is a "We the people" Issure as it involves our Second Amendment and ifngingment on our rights. I would like to know your position on Semi-Automatic AR-15 style rifles and limiting magazine capacity. This is more than just a federal issue....it is a state issue, a city issue, a town issue and a personal issue for each and every one of us as it will affect every one of us. Our elected officals swore and Oath to protect and defend the Constitution and "not to be infringed" means what it says.
I need to know your position on this issue as it has a lot to do with who I vote for.
Sincerely,
John Hackett
