RETIRED FROM AUSTIN POLICE DEPT AFTER 27 YEARS...

Congratulations brother and best wishes in retirement! There's lots of shooting sports opportunities in your neck of the woods, you will miss it after a while then settle into your new routine. Chill for a while then get off the porch and go do something! Best Regards

Thank you for your service, congratulations, happy birthday enjoy the time with your family

Congratulations and good for you! You will find yourself missing your co-workers but not the "customers". No more call out or working most holidays, weekends, and special assignments. No more 2 a.m. death notifications nor comforting a new police widow.

You will still always stop and look around as you enter a bar or restaurant and will always eat facing the door. And try to simply DRIVE somewhere instead of patrolling. It drives my wife nuts.

You made it, DonnieDee, and you deserve the congratulations and best wishes. A lesser man (or woman) could not have done it!

Congratulations for your duty to your town and enjoy your retirement.

Adding more congratulations to the pile. The very best of luck.

Sooooooo, what ja wanna be when you grow up now? :D

CONGRATS and welcome to the club.....take a couple of months to enjoy yourself and then find something that YOU want to do.. You went out on your own terms, never second guess your decision. Best of luck.

Congrats and Happy Birthday. I lived in Austin a few years but now back to where I was planted.

Your Out!!!! Great. You will not miss it, believe me. I've got a sister in law still on that JOB,.......... congrats.

Way to go. 10-42 forever. I've got ten more more years to go.

Happy retirement. It's a great feeling but later on you will need something to do. Volunteer, help kids, maybe a small business or a part time job. I retired @57 & started a small handyman business until S.S. kicked in, Never made much money but helped out a bunch of folks that needed help.
